How this website handles personal data under the GDPR.

2. Overview
We process only the personal data needed to run this website and to answer enquiries. We use no analytics or tracking services and no advertising cookies. There is no comment function.
3. Hosting and server log files
This website is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. When you visit, the web server records your IP address, the date and time, the requested page, the referring page, the status code and your browser and operating system details. We use this data to keep the site secure and stable (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and store it only as long as needed for that purpose. Processing on our behalf is governed by a data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR.
4. Cookies and consent
Technically necessary cookies, for example for logged-in administrators, do not require consent under Section 165(3) of the Austrian Telecommunications Act 2021. All other services, currently the embedded SoundCloud and YouTube players, are loaded only after you give consent.
We use the consent management tool Borlabs Cookie for this. It shows a consent dialog on your first visit and stores your choice in a cookie or in your browser’s local storage, so that it does not have to ask you again. The legal basis for storing your choice is our legal obligation to document consent (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR together with Art. 7(1) GDPR). The legal basis for the services you consent to is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 165(3) of the Austrian Telecommunications Act 2021.
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future, using the cookie settings widget at the bottom left of every page. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before.
5. Cover images from Bandcamp
Release covers on the Discography page and product photos on the Merch page are loaded from the image servers of Bandcamp (bcbits.com). Your browser therefore sends your IP address and browser details to Bandcamp when these pages load. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, our interest in presenting our releases.

This website links to Bandcamp, Spotify, Apple Music, SoundCloud, Mixcloud, Instagram, Facebook, X and Linktree. These are plain links: no data is sent to these providers until you click one. Their own privacy policies apply from then on:
7. Embedded players (Press and release pages)
The Press page and some release promo pages embed SoundCloud players and YouTube videos. These are blocked by default. Only if you consent, or load a single embed via its placeholder, does your browser connect to SoundCloud or YouTube, which may set cookies and process your IP address and usage data. Without consent, no connection to these providers is made. The privacy policies of SoundCloud and Google (YouTube) apply.
8. Contact by email
If you email us, we process your message and your email address to answer your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). We delete this data once the matter is closed, unless statutory retention duties apply.
9. Forms on promo pages
Some promo pages contain a form asking for name, email address and a message. The entries are stored in this website’s database and sent to us by email so we can handle your request. Legal basis: your consent, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, which you can withdraw at any time.
10. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection under the GDPR. To exercise them, email info@b-visible.net.
